Posing for the camera has always been a challenge for me, so to be able to stay in the moment and out of my head, I regularily booked shoots and practiced practiced practiced! This specific shoot was the first time I felt truly in my body and one with the photographer. It was a delightful breakthrough.
I eventually learned that that oneness I had found could quickly dissipate and I eventually had to just become one with my insecurites, and feeling akward. There's a certain magic to that last part but I'll leave it for another time. For now, here's to the first time I didn't feel like a complete knob in front of the camera.
