Posing for the camera has always been a challenge for me, so to be able to stay in the moment and out of my head, I regularly booked shoots and practiced practiced practiced! This specific shoot was the first time I felt truly in my body and one with the photographer. It was a delightful breakthrough.
I eventually learned that I had to become one with my insecurities and allow them to be seen, instead of trying to deny their existence. There's a certain magic to that last part but I'll leave it for another time. For now, here's to the first time I didn't feel like a complete knob in front of the camera.
Hoorah!
