Unseen BTS

Around 2019, I began shooting a series of Spanish poetry readings to become familiar with the classics. Back then, my late kitty, Meow, was alive and continuously chatting by my side. I found this behind-the-scenes clip today and was taken aback at how much has happened since then. Loss became an intimate companion when my mother died... Then I lived in three cities, travelled a ton, and changed my lifestyle dramatically twice. I became a death doula and went from performing titillating shows for a living to tending to the dying daily... It's been a ride, and through most of that, Meow was by my side. From sitting with me in the depths of grief to storytelling while I pranced around half naked, preparing my poetry readings, she witnessed it all. This was shot around the holidays, and since we're entering that very same season once again, here is a voyeuristic moment in time with my little Queen.
